This week of the LAPD Cadet Academy focused on physical fitness, personal responsibility, and making inform decisions. Recruits participated in Physical Training (PT) and received valuable instruction on intelligent dating and safe driving.
Physical Training (PT)
Recruits continued to build their physical strength, endurance, and discipline through PT. Each training session encourages recruits to challenge themselves, develop resilience, and understand the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle.
Intelligent Dating
During the intelligent dating lesson, recruits explored the importance of building healthy relationships, establishing personal boundaries, and making responsible decisions. The discussion emphasized mutual respect, communication, and recognizing the qualities of positive relationships.
Safe Driving
Recruit’s also received instruction on safe driving practices, focusing on the importance of responsibility behavior behind the wheel. The lesson reinforced traffic safety awareness, avoiding distractions,and understanding how everyday decisions can impact the safety of drivers, passengers, and others on the road.
Looking Ahead
As week 7 comes to a close, our recruits continue to develop the skills, confidence, and responsibility needed to become positive role models in their communities. Each week brings them one step closer to completing the academy and becoming tomorrow’s leaders.
