Building Strength and Making Smart Choices

Cadet recruits began the day with Physical Training (PT), where they completed their second Physical Fitness Qualifier (PFQ). The assessment gave recruits another opportunity to measure their progress while continuing to build strength, endurance, discipline, and confidence.

Following PT, recruits participated in an Important Decisions lesson focused on school and sexual harassment. The discussion emphasized making responsible choices, maintaining appropriate boundaries, treating others with respect, and understanding how their actions can impact themselves and those around them.

Recruits also received their Class A uniforms, marking another exciting milestone in their academy experience. They will begin breaking in their uniforms in preparation for Picture Day at the end of the month.

Through physical training, classroom instruction, and academy milestones like receiving their uniforms, recruits continue developing the discipline, judgment, professionalism, and leadership skills expected of LAPD Cadets.
