Week 5 of the LAPD Cadet Academy continued to challenge recruits both in the classroom and through physical training. This week, recruits attended a fentanyl awareness presentation focused on the dangers of fentanyl, its impact on individuals and communities, and the importance of making informed and responsible decisions.
Recruits also participated in physical training, continuing to build their endurance, strength, teamwork, and discipline. In the classroom, they completed Administration of Justice II, expanding on the law enforcement concepts introduced during the previous week and gaining a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and expectations associated with public safety.
As the academy progresses, recruits continue to develop the knowledge, confidence, and discipline needed to become positive leaders within their schools and communities.
