The Jeopardy Program is a gang prevention/intervention program for boys and girls ages 8 through 17 and their parents. Jeopardy combines the strength of the community, neighborhood schools and the Department to effect positive, lifelong attitudinal changes in young people who are in “jeopardy” of being drawn into the gang lifestyle. As a result, this has a positive impact on the community while diverting youth away from gang activity and crime.

- Improve conflict resolution and other life affirming skills
- Improve reading and writing
- Decrease violent and other inappropriate behavior
Program Criteria
The Jeopardy Program targets children “at risk” of becoming involved in gang activity and offers them a variety of educational and physical projects; from tutoring to martial arts. The program also targets children “at risk” of becoming involved in criminal activity.
