This past weekend marked week 5 of the LAPD Cadet Leadership Academy, where recruits faced an intense and rewarding training session. The day began with challenging physical training, pushing cadets to strengthen their endurance, teamwork, and mental toughness.
In the classroom, recruits continued their academic journey through Administration of Justice I, diving deeper into the foundations of law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
To close out the day, recruits attended an educational presentation on Fentanyl and the dangers of drug use. This critical discussion shed light on the growing impact of illicit substances and reinforced the importance of awareness, prevention, and making positive life choices.
