This week was an exciting and eye opening experience for our recruits. LAPD bomb squad visited as guest speakers, brining along their specializes robots and K9 partners. The recruits were able to see firsthand how technology and teamwork play a vital role in keeping our communities safe.
In addition to the guest presentation, recruits continued to push themselves during physical training, building both strength and endurance. They also participated in a budgeting game called, “The Bean Game”.Which is an interactive exercise designed to teach the importance of budgeting and financial decision-making. Through this game, recruits got a realistic insight into how everyday choices impact financial stability and why planning ahead is so important.
