Week 9 at the Cadet Academy was one to remember as recruits officially broke in their Class A uniforms for picture day. Looking sharp and standing proud, the recruits represented the discipline, professionalism, and teamwork they have developed throughout the academy so far.

The day also included a special visit from therapy dogs, giving recruits an opportunity to learn about stress relief, emotional wellness, and the positive impact these animals can have within the community and law enforcement settings.
To finish off the day, recruits participated in a safe driving class where they learned the importance of responsible decision-making behind the wheel, situational awareness, and safe driving habits that will benefit them both now and in the future.
As the academy continues, recruits are not only building leadership skills, but also gaining valuable life lessons that will stay with them long after graduation.
