Week 2 of the Cadet Academy marked another important step in the development of our recruits. This week, recruits were introduced to the 6 Decisions curriculum, focusing on character, accountability, and making positive choices both in and out of the academy. In addition, the 6 Decisions for parents was presented, reinforcing the importance of support systems and shared values at home.
Recruits also faced a major milestone by completing their first Physical Fitness Qualification (PFQ). This was an opportunity for each recruit to challenge themselves, measure their current fitness level, and begin setting goals for improvement throughout the academy.
The Cadet Academy PFQ consists of the following timed exercises: 1 mile run, push ups and situps. One PFQ down and two more to go!
