Week 12 marked a milestone moments—the very last day our recruits would step foot at ARTC as recruits. Their next arrival will be as LAPD Cadets, ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.
To celebrate this final chapter of the academy, the recruits kicked off they morning with their Pride Run, showcasing the strength, grit, and determination they’ve built over the last 13 weeks. The energy, teamwork, and motivation were unmatched as they ran together for the very last time before graduation.
After the run, the day turned into a fun and memorable celebration filled with team-building games—tug of war, volleyball, connect 4, Jenga, and many more. Laughter, high-fives, and friendly competition filled the ARTC ground as each recruit reflected on how far they’ve come.
To top off the day, we welcomed an In-N-Out Truck, giving the recruits a well deserved chance to relax and enjoy a great meal together. It was the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable academy experience.
