Week 8 at the academy challenged both the minds and bodies of our recruits. We were honored to welcome Detective Lee from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit. Cadets learned about online safety, digital responsibility, and the importance of protecting vulnerable youth in our communities. This eye opening session reminded recruits of the real world impact law enforcement has beyond the streets.

Following the presentation, recruits geared up for an intense PT session. Platoons competed in strength and endurance challenges, pushing each other to stay motivated and focused. In honor of the United States Marine Corps’ 250th birthday this year, cadets proudly completed 250 squats, along with a series of other exercises.
To wrap up the day, recruits participated in their Administration of Justice II cass, continuing their academic training and expanding their understanding of the criminal justice system.
The dedication and teamwork displayed this week reflect the core values of the cadet program- discipline, integrity, and service. Great job, Cadets!
